A Charism of Companioning

“All these devoted themselves with one accord

to prayer, together with some women,

and Mary the Mother of Jesus…”

Acts 1: 14

In 1829, St. Therese Couderc transformed the mission of the first house in La Louvesc, France from that of a hostel for pilgrims, to a house of prayer for retreatants. Since then, the Cenacle Sisters place retreats, especially those according to the Spiritual Exercises of St. Ignatius of Loyola, at the center of their ministry. We offer different kinds of retreats, seminars, workshops and other spiritual programs.Come to the Cenacle.  Let us journey together.
