It offers a space to come home to oneself, to look at the significance of this time in one’s life, in order to see how the years are not a burden but are truly gift and blessing. Based on Joan Chittister’s book “The Gift of Years: Growing Old Gracefully.” Open only to those in their fifties and above.

This program will explore our deep connection with the natural world essential for our physical, emotional and spiritual well being and restore balance and harmony of body and soul in our increasingly fast changing and complex world. The weekend will provide opportunity to take a deep look at the root of ecological spirituality from the perspective of ecological science and from the Gospels needed in our search for a meaningful response to the present ecological crisis. Eco-Spirituality explores ways that we, humans can reclaim our basic oneness and spiritual link with the natural world and become more deeply sensitive to the sacred character of all of creation that can lead to a caring and reverent way of life.

Encountering God who, in our toils and labors, opens us to discover the sacred character of work – both gift and privilege, a sharing in the creative power of God so that to experience work in this light is to be led to life and wholeness.
