The Hill I Must Climb
The Rocky Path by Jeff Mathison
The road to Calvary is not a straight path. It is a winding road that leads to a hill – if we are to reach the foot of Jesus’ cross, there is a hill we must climb.
Every Lenten season invites us to walk this journey:
What do we desire?
What do we bring, and who comes with us?
Who do we meet along the way?
What do we see and how shall we stay there with Jesus?
This retreat will provide the atmosphere for climbing that hill, and encountering the God Who loved us to the end.
For stay-in retreat, we can only accommodate max 12 persons in compliance to health and safety guidelines. Our office will guide you accordingly once your registration is complete and confirmed.

This retreat series will focus on learning how to pray when one is depressed, anxious or languishing. Hopefully, prayer will lead to finding comfort in desolation, as one experiences a God who has never left anyone to suffer alone. There will be inputs and time for personal prayer and faith-sharing.

Palm Sunday is the feast that commemorates Jesus’ triumphal entry into Jerusalem and marks the first day of Holy Week in the liturgical year. The scripturally-based retreat will be a time of personal reflection preparing our hearts to enter more fully into the mystery of Christ’s saving act highlighted during the Easter Triduum. The retreat program will give suggestions on how to use Scripture for contemplation that would lead to a heart-to-heart conversation with Jesus.
