Revisiting stories about our families uncover a lot of mixed emotions. Whatever emotions surface, touching base with them is often anxiety-provoking. A fitting response is to pray about them, rather than bury them in oblivion, because praying opens the door of healing,
To pray about our family stories is to listen to them once again. For, after all, stories are meant for listening. In this retreat we will listen to our family stories once more, but, this time, in the presence of the Lord.
Healing begins when one is heard.
