Epiphanies: A New Year Recollection for Single Young Professionals
Sr. Cecille Tuble, rc and Sr. Yna Oñate, rc

A day of recollection to usher in the new year and to pray to the God who continues to reveal himself to us (“epiphany” means “manifestation”) in both dramatic and quiet ways. Like the Magi who found their way to the Christ Child, we will be invited to seek our guiding Light and discover the humble gift of love.
January 29-30 Spirituality and Film
Sr. Judette Gallares, rc

Film as a medium presents us with a way of incarnating God in the world through the use of narratives, symbols and images. The weekend will explore the role of imagination in spirituality and in Ignatian contemplation.

FEBRUARY

February 4-5

Reserved for subsidized retreat for fisherfolk and other informal sectors Sr. Sheila Mae Jaso, rc
February 12-13 Enneagram and Relationships
Sr. Malen Java, rc

A Valentine weekend with a twist! Come with a sharing partner (spouse, sibling, friend, fiance/e, co-worker, etc.) and learn about the enneagram together. This ancient tool for self- discovery and growth can be a valuable aid in teaching self-knowledge, understanding and
tolerance of oneʼs own weaknesses and that of others.
Feb 19-20 Spirituality for the Golden Years
Sr. Angie Villanueva, rc

A weekend of praying, reminiscing, reflecting and sharing on experiences and issues of the golden years — for quality life and fullness of life. For those 50 years and above who consciously make a choice for LIFE.
February 19-20 Praying Our LIfeʼs Questions: A Vocation Recollection
Sr. Mel Benedictos, rc and Sr. Cecille Tuble, rc

What will I do with my life? Is this all there is to life? Does God have a plan for me?
These are a few of the most common questions that young people ask. This weekend will teach them how to pray and discern the questions that unfold their life purpose. It will also offer them a glimpse of one life option, which is religious life in the Cenacle, by providing them with information and experiences about the life of a Cenacle Sister. (Open only to single women aged 19-33 years old.)
MARCH

March 5-6

Prayer of Quiet: Revisiting our Contemplative Treasures
Sr. Malen Java, rc

This weekend retreat will introduce the retreatant to some of the ancient Christian practices of contemplative prayer or prayer of quiet, adapted to our contemporary times. It will teach how to enter into quiet through centering prayer, kything and other forms of quiet prayer.
March 12-13 Four Levels of Healing
Dr. Ma. Teresa Gustilo-Villasor, PhD

Many of us are searching for insight, practical guidance and tools that can support us to heal the wounded places within us. This weekend will help us find wholeness, balance and fulfillment through healing the spiritual, mental, emotional and physical aspects of our lives.
March 25-27 Inner Healing Through Zen
Sr. Sonia Punzalan, rc

This 3 day retreat aims at helping the participants to: 1) Look reflectively at lifeʼs hurts; 2) Cooperate with Godʼs grace in the healing of memories and hurts through the dynamics of forgiveness; and 3) Move in faith toward “fullness of life”.
APRIL

April 2-3

Praying Our Belovedness – The Unique Voice of Henri Nouwen
Sr. Bubbles Bandojo, rc

The retreat is a journey of coming home to the reality of the First Love in all our lives — that love which is there before we experience any rejection and will remain even after all rejections take place. It is an invitation to reclaim the truth of our Belovedness. Our true spiritual work has to do with letting ourselves be loved fully, completely and to trust that in that love, we come to the fulfillment of our vocation. This is Henri Nouwenʼs gift and challenge, his enduring legacy for all time.
April 9-10 Lenten Retreat: Learning, praying, loving and living the “Art of Passing-Over”
Sr. Angie Villanueva, rc

Letting go, Letting Be, and Letting grow — in the footsteps of Jesus and with the Messianic Community.
April 16-17 Palm Sunday Retreat
Sr. Judette Gallares, rc

A Lenten journey of prayer contemplating the life of Jesus as he begins his Passion.
THIS IS A SILENT RETREAT.
April 21-24 Holy Week Retreat for Young Professionals
Cenacle Sisters

A Unique Holy Week experience: from different perspectives of scripture, poetry, song, film and the visual arts, this silent retreat invites participants to journey with Jesus in his total act of self-giving, and in the process, discover the meaning and relevance of his passion, death and resurrection in their own lives. The interdisciplinary, multi-media approach of the retreat will also include quiet time for personal prayer and reflection, faith-sharing and opportunity for individual consultation with a Cenacle Sister. THIS IS A SILENT RETREAT.
April 26-May 12 Perspectives in Spiritual Direction and Discernment (PSDD)
Cenacle Sisters

In collaboration with the Institute of Consecrated Life in Asia (ICLA). All inquiries and applications are coursed through the ICLA office: telephone numbers 932-0343 or 932-9820.
April 30 Prayer & Pilgrimage for Single Young Professionals
Sr. Cecille Tuble, rc

A “moving” recollection through selected churches and prayer sites. The emphasis will be on pilgrimage, not tourism: the pilgrim-participants will be offered points for reflection and prayer as they contemplate with and in sacred spaces. (Limited slots only. Due to the physical demands of this program, it is open only to the young and physically fit.)
MAY

May 13-27

House closed for general cleaning.
May 28-29 Loaves and Fishes
Sr. Yna Oñate, rc

Do you consider yourself blessed, and yet yearn for more? Inspired by the miracle of the multiplication of the loaves and fishes in the Gospels, this weekend retreat invites you to notice what God has given and continues to give you, and to listen to the empty spaces still calling within. By praying on these paradoxes, you will discover a God who transforms both blessing and yearning into grace. Indeed, no gift is too small when offered to God.

ONGOING PROGRAM IN THE CENACLE

CHRISTIAN MEDITATION: Every Wednesday, from 5:30 pm to 6:30 pm. All are welcome. “The important aim in Christian Meditation is to allow Godʼs mysterious and silent presence within us to become, more and more, not only a reality but THE reality which gives meaning, shape and purpose in everything we do, everything we are.”
(Dom John Main, OSB)
