There are:

      guided weekend retreats, private retreats, dialogue/discussion weekends, preached retreats, and days of renewal for those who wish to move towards a life of faith;
      and 30-day retreats, directed retreats, guided retreats, and continuing spiritual direction for those committed Christians desiring a deeper experience of solitude leading to growth in faith.

      THE PREACHED RETREAT

      This is where one or more persons give a presentation, followed by periods of reflection and prayer. Discussions may be included in the program depending on the needs of the group.

      THE PRIVATE RETREAT

      This is for only one person, and is givern a Cenacle Sister who consults with the retreatant daily to offer guidance and whatever help is needed.

      THE DIRECTED RETREAT

      This is the complete Exercises of St. Ignatius for 30-days or an adaptation for a shorter period. It is given on a one-to-one basis. A Cenacle Sister plans the retreat with the individual according to personal desires, capacities, and needs. The central element of this retreat is the person’s unique experience of God in the framework of prayer.

      THE GUIDED RETREAT

      This is another adaptation of the Spiritual Exercises. Guidelines and suggestions for prayer are given to the group. The retreatants are individually directed for review and guidance in prayer and discernment.

      THE IGNATIAN RETREATS (18th, 19th Annotations & Long Retreat)

      The name comes form the #18th and #19th directive of St. Ignatius on the giving of the Spiritual Exercises, and applies to men and women who are too busy to set aside 30 consecutive days of retreat. Suggestions for prayer, come from the 30-day retreat, but the times of prayer are set within the context of the retreatant’s daily life. Regular individual direction is provided in the course of this retreat in daily life, which may extend for months or even years.

      CONTINUING SPIRITUAL DIRECTION

      For those who seek meaning and connectedness in their day-to-day life, the Sisters are available for individual guidance. Arrangements are made on an individual basis.

      OUTSIDE PROGRAMS

    Arrangements may be made with the Ministry Office for the Sisters to conduct programs and retreats outside the Cenacle.
