| Even before God created us, God has already loved us. This love follows us every moment of our life, but oftentimes we are unmindful of it. This retreat is an invitation to pause to meet God’s gaze. It is not blind, like many say. Love sees. And in this loving gaze, we see who we truly are. Thus, it is only in God’s eyes that we recognize our truest self—God’s beloved. Our own love story unfolds the moment we realize this “First Love”. |
